In a large mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, cream, peanut butter, vanilla, salt, and chocolate syrup. Whisk until the syrup is completely dissolved
Scrape the yogurt mixture into ice cream maker and freeze. Churn until the yogurt has thickened to the texture soft-serve ice cream or a thick milkshake for 17 to 20 minutes.
Scoop the frozen yogurt into a container and smooth the top. Sprinkle with the chopped powdered nuts. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze until hard, at least 2-4 hours.
